Baltimore, MD – Jasmin Manning and AYE Gallery present INTERLUDE (Pt.1) Opening Art Reception at AYE Gallery, located at 100 E.23rd St, on Friday, May 15 from 6-9 p.m.
Join us for the opening of Interlude (Pt.1), a solo art exhibit by Baltimore artist, Jasmin Manning, featuring a series of paintings centering Black rest as a space for reflection, restoration, and transformation. In a world that so often defines Black life through labor and endurance, the artist chooses to insist on stillness.
The artist invites viewers to slow down with her, to reflect and to see rest as something powerful, necessary and worthy of being witnessed.
The art exhibit will be on view from May 15-June 13, 2026, with a closing artist talk on June 13 from 6-9 p.m.
