Karaoke Night at the Science Center
This isn’t your average karaoke night—this is karaoke beneath the stars of our planetarium dome!
Are you known to rock the microphone? Channel your inner superstar and sing us a song, piano man! Grab a friend and perform a duet, sing a solo, or even just rock out in the audience. Plus, you’ll enjoy exclusive access to a selection of our science exhibits as our staff make it a party with fun music and science-themed games and demonstrations.
Activities:
- Hop on the mic and belt out your favorite karaoke tune beneath the star-studded sky in the Davis Planetarium
- Get crafty designing and constructing your own musical science gadget
- Visit the instrument petting zoo and experiment with loads of unique music makers and materials
- Grab a drink from our friends at Boordy Vineyards and Pherm Brewing Company to sip while you sing and explore
- Enjoy kid-free, after-hours access to a selection of exhibits, and more!
Event Details:
This event is a part of the Maryland Science Center’s Adult Programs and is for ages 21+. A valid ID is required upon arrival. Admission includes participation in on-floor activities and access to selected exhibits. Participants will have the opportunity to sign up for karaoke upon arrival until all spots are full—fist come, first served. Adult beverages will be available for purchase from Boordy Vineyards and Pherm Brewing Company. Please enter through the front Harbor Lobby entrance. This event is likely to sell out.
All proceeds benefit the educational programs at the Maryland Science Center.
