We dug deep into our archive of meticulously curated mixtapes and CDs to craft the perfect collection of tunes that will transport you right back to cruising down the freeway in the hot, hot sun—how bizarre! Sit back, relax, and let our planetarium operators take you on a trip you won’t want to miss.

Music Under the Dome is an immersive planetarium show featuring in-house curated imagery set to a 45-minute music playlist. Each show is uniquely developed to complement the soundtrack and is only available at the Maryland Science Center. Check in for the show early and enjoy a complementary happy hour, complete with adult beverages, special science demonstrations, and access to our space exhibits.

Event Details:

All Music Under the Dome events are part of the Maryland Science Center’s Adult Programs for ages 21+. A valid ID is required upon arrival. Your ticket is all-inclusive to our space exhibits, pre-show activities and demonstrations, drinks, and show in the Davis Planetarium.

Choose between an 8 p.m. or 9 p.m. showtime. Doors open at 7 p.m. for all showtimes. The show runs for approximately 45 minutes. Please enter through the Constellation Learning/Group Entrance located on the Key Highway facing side of the building. This event is likely to sell out.

All proceeds benefit the educational programs at the Maryland Science Center.
