Pottery Workshop - Sculpting Black Hair

Celebrate Black History through an immersive, hands on ceramic workshop exploring the artistry, history, and cultural significance of Black hair. In this 3 hour workshop, participants will learn how to sculpt richly textured clay tiles inspired by coils, curls, braids, locs, and other protective styles that have shaped identity and expression across generations. This workshop welcomes all levels from beginners to intermediate ceramic artists.
