The Last Resort Artist Retreat presents “Rock With Us” at The Rockaway Hotel – an evening of roller skating, featuring a DJ set by Papi Juice & Friends, ushering in the Valentine’s Day weekend and the unveiling of the hotel’s roller rink pop-up! This will be a joy-filled night among friends and lovers in support of TLRAR and our mission to bring leisure and connectivity to the forefront. The proceeds from this event will go directly to future programming at TLRAR.

The Rockaway Hotel: 108-10 Rockaway Beach Drive Rockaway Park, NY 11694

Purchase of a ticket includes:
1) Open bar (7-9 p.m., cash bar afterwards)
2) Passed appetizers
3) Skate rental (limited supply) *Personal skates are welcome*

Please note, skate size quantities are limited. In order to ensure everyone skates, you will be assigned a timed skating group for rotating skate sessions upon arrival.

The Last Resort Artist Retreat (TLRAR) is an artist residency that subscribes to the concept of leisure as therapy for the Black creative and is committed to offering the space and curated-experience conducive to their rejuvenation. TLRAR is a primary program within Charm City Cultural Cultivation (CCCC) is a non-profit foundation whose primary function is to build opportunities for cultural growth in Baltimore’s inner city by introducing and supporting initiatives for public programs in the arts, social engagements, leisurely activities and educational advancement through informal gatherings.
