Snow Days

School’s out—science is in!

Celebrate the wonders of winter this winter break with a flurry of science exploration! Join us for cozy snow day fun around every corner of the museum each day between December 24 and January 3. All activities are free with paid admission and completely free to members, unless otherwise noted.

HERE’S WHAT TO EXPECT:

• Explore the concept of friction as you glide around on our indoor ice rink
• Load up our pitching machine to throw snowballs at a yeti
• Warm up with fiery science demonstrations at the Demonstration Stage
• Stop by the SciLab to investigate the chemistry of holiday baking
• No matter the weather forecast, there’s a 100% chance of an indoor snow storm—twice each day
