This February, Mount Vernon’s boutique hotel Ulysses is offering an array of romantic offerings for Valentine’s Day in its all-day bistro Ash Bar and decadent cocktail lounge Bloom’s. Ideal for lovers, friends, and solo celebrations alike, the Baltimore community is invited to join Ulysses and fall in love.

February 10: Kick off Valentine’s Day early with a jazz performance in Bloom’s by Brandon Woody and Troy Long

Baltimore natives Brandon Woody & Troy Long are longtime collaborators who have been creating worlds of musical expression together for almost a decade. The duo has performed internationally, scored films and curates ethereal, poignant experiences.

February 10-14: Valentine’s Day specials and coursed dinner menus make for a delicious celebration

At Ash Bar, the five-course Valentine’s Day menu invites diners to choose their dining journey with decadent options including oysters, lobster bisque, mushroom risotto, short rib au poivre, and more. For dessert? The Baked Alaska for 2 (or an indulgent 1) is a sumptuous dessert with vanilla semifreddo, raspberry gelée and red velvet cake.

At Bloom’s, the mixologist has debut a special cocktail: A Love Story in Two Chapters. Meant to be shared, the set of complimentary cocktails have a unique twist – they only taste good once topped with Bugey-Cerdon. A cheeky play on two individuals who are better together, the cocktails are topped off with Bugey-Cerdon tableside once served.
