Void No. 9
Void No. 9′ marks the Baltimore debut of multidisciplinary artist G. Pack. This body of work invites viewers into an imagined spiritual prison cell, a liminal space between judgment, heaven, and hell. Within this void, themes of anxiety, grief, and purpose emerge through large-scale acrylic portraits.
Rooted in Pack’s lineage as a child of ministers and a student of spirituality, the exhibition explores the presence of the divine in the unorthodox. The realistic depictions of figures in spiritual spaces highlight the tension between the physical and metaphysical.
The exhibition will also feature a limited capsule collection of three wearable art pieces inspired by physical movement and creative endurance, alongside a short film offering a sensory journey through the Void.
Opening night will be followed by a series of community events, performances, artist talks, and more curated experiences.
