Watercolor Flowers and Bookmark Project

Flowers are a delightful and enchanting subject for the medium of watercolor! In this workshop we’ll practice simple flower shapes using a dry brush technique to create sunflowers and then use our brushes to sweep rich liquid watercolor droplets into flower petals. Then, on 100% cotton watercolor paper we’ll use both techniques to paint our favorite flowers on custom bookmarks, sign them, decorate them with ribbon and keep them or gift them to our book-loving friends. Wine will be provided!
