Back-to-School Cookout & Backpack Giveaway – Hit Me With Music Foundation

Hit Me With Music Foundation invites the Baltimore community to our Back-to-School Cookout & Backpack Giveaway on August 22, 2026, from 12-5 PM.

This free community event is designed to support local families as they prepare for the upcoming school year. We will be providing backpacks and school supplies to students while also offering live entertainment, food, music, community resources, and family-friendly activities throughout the day. We will also be holding a 50/50 Raffle with tickets/packages on sale NOW!

In addition to giveaways and entertainment, the event will feature local vendors, small businesses and community organizations sharing services, resources, and products with attendees. We are currently welcoming vendors, sponsors, volunteers and community partners who would like to participate.

Our goal is to bring families, youth and community stakeholders together for a positive and supportive kickoff to the school year.
