Guinness St. Patrick's Day Celebrations

The Guinness Open Gate Brewery in Baltimore and the home of Guinness in the U.S. will kick off its highly anticipated month-long St. Patrick’s day celebration, starting Thursday, March 2. Festivities will take place over 16 days in March when the brewery is open; every Thursday through Sunday, including special operating hours on St. Patrick’s Day from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. For four weeks, guests can experience limited-edition holiday beer releases and merchandise, traditional Irish dishes, live music, exclusive beer dinners, an Irish Village lawn takeover with interactive activities and a special secret menu.    Guinness will continue its commitment to giving back in Baltimore by making a donation to community partner, Sharp Dressed Man. After enjoying a pint and something to eat, guests can burn off energy and build community service hours while dancing at the ‘Harness the Surge’ activation. The number of steps collected at the activation will equal the number of service hours Guinness will pledge back to the Baltimore community.    -Secret Menu- The brewery is bringing back its secret St. Patrick’s Day menu with exclusive items and deals. Guests must recite Gaelic phrases in the Irish Village to access the deals. To unlock the secret menu, follow and DM the @GuinnessBreweryUS Instagram account with a four-leaf clover emoji.

-Food-  Favorites from the Saint Patrick’s Day menu are returning to the taproom menu including Corned Beef & Cabbage, Shepherd’s Pie and Fish and Chips. The brewery will also host an exclusive four-course ticketed beer dinner series with a free souvenir in the Barrel Room every Sunday at 6pm for $100 a person. Tickets are available for purchase online or by calling (443) 575-6893.

-Irish Village- The Irish Village will be back and packed with beer, food and fun including live music from local talents such as the 19th Street Band, Starcrush and the McGrath Morgan Academy‘s Irish dancers. Guinness-curated food stalls will line the entire village, such as The Hollywood Oyster House, Stewart’s Stew House, Lord Calvert’s Chippy, Wing House, Wien’s & Co. Delicatessen, Over the Moon Ice Cream Parlor, Dudley’s Desserts & Baked Goods, Heaney’s Grill & Mash and all-day Irish breakfast at The Diner.
