Rachael and Vilray

Rachael Price and guitarist-songwriter Vilray bring a witty, intimate take on jazz and pop, pairing original songs with a fondness for classic show tunes and standards. The duo’s performances turn on close, conversational vocals and stories behind the songs, with a sound that can shift from spare two-person interplay to a fuller ensemble. Their recent album, West of Broadway, includes “My Key to Gramercy Park” and “Off Broadway,” while earlier favorites include “Do Friends Fall in Love?” and “I Love A Love Song!” Taylor Ashton joins the Annapolis concert for an evening of fresh songwriting with a timeless swing.
