Sonny Buttar with Aaron Hauptman, THE DAUGHTERS OF ROSEBUD

Join us to celebrate Sonny Buttar’s debut novel – a multigenerational family saga at once haunting and hopeful.

In The Daughters of Rosebud, teacher Salma Chaudhry lives a quiet life, avoiding all attachments. But after a call from her estranged father, the protective shell she lives within starts to crack and the trauma she’s buried for eighteen years emerges. What ensues is a powerful exploration of sisterhood, family loyalty, and the courage it takes to heal.

Poet and doctor Aaron Hauptmann will join Sonny Buttar in conversation, for a conversation weaving threads from multiple disciplines through this richly crafted novel.
