Baltimore is an exciting and vibrant city full of unique neighborhoods and incredible diversity – and we in the restaurant business know first hand that nothing brings people together quite like good food. The mission of Baltimore Vegan Restaurant Week is to increase the awareness, benefits and accessibility of a plant-based diet through a fun, innovative and community-based experience across multiple neighborhoods. The inaugural Baltimore Vegan Restaurant Week took place in August of 2017 all across the city with over 40 participating restaurants to huge success. In February of this year, the winter edition of Vegan Restaurant Week: Veganism is for Lovers challenged restaurants to demonstrate their love and compassion for promoting healthier diets, reducing animal cruelty and saving the environment, by offering tasty and creative vegan options on their menus. This summer, Vegan Restaurant Week: Summer Love will be for participating restaurants to, again, challenge themselves with cooking compassionately and offering up their new menus to all their customers not just vegans!
