SWING CITY is back again at Keystone Korner Baltimore on September 13 at 7:30 p.m.! This remarkable band includes Quincy Phillips, Warren Wolf, Justin Mendez, Hannah Mayer & Blake Meister to remind us that Bebop is truly the Music of the Future.

Warren Wolf is a multi-instrumentalist from Baltimore, MD. From the young age of three years old, Warren has been trained on the Vibraphone/Marimba, Drums, and Piano. Warren has a deep background in all genres of music, and is one of the hardest swinging virtuosos in all of modern music. A provocative young musician and composer, Blake Meister has “wit, soul, and an organic-sounding complexity that only a master can pull off.” – Giovanni Russonello Quincy Phillips is a drummer, pianist, organist and Baltimore-native. He has made significant contributions to the Baltimore Jazz community, as well as globally, performing with Christian McBride, Sean Jones, Joey Alexander, the late Joey DeFrancesco and many more. Hannah Mayer is no stranger to jazz and the broader spectrum of popular music. “Her playing is deeply rooted in language, and is always so interesting both rhythmically and harmonically.” – Brendan Brady Justin Mendez is a professional jazz saxophonist and educator. As an educator, his clinician experience includes the HAPCO Summer Jazz Camp, Stetson Saxophone Workshop and the USC ColaJazz workshop.
