Our world-class waterfront distillery is located in the Baltimore Peninsula neighborhood, directly off I-95 and a short drive from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. We are open five days a week for hour-long guided tours, whiskey tastings, and shopping. Join us for a drink at our Whiskey Bar, Nineteen O’ Nine, Thursdays – Sundays, or stop by with friends and family for our monthly summer concert series, Whiskey on the Waterfront!

Admissions And More Information

Join us for an hour-long distillery tour through our distillery and processing buildings and enjoy a guided tastings of four of our Rye Whiskies. We also invite you to expand your love for rye whiskey while visiting Nineteen O’ Nine, the distillery’s own whiskey cocktail bar, located right inside our Visitor Center. The bar serves handcrafted cocktails, flight trays, and Distillery Exclusive releases. The space is also available for small, private events.

What It's Like

Sagamore Spirit Distillery sits on a five-acre campus offering waterfront events, classes, tours, cocktails and experiences that attract local and global tourism.

Sagamore Spirit is restoring Maryland’s proud history of distilling rye whiskey as the first distillery to distill, barrel, age, bottle, and distribute rye whiskey in Maryland since Prohibition. The state-of-the-art facility includes nine 6,500-gallon fermenting tanks, more than two miles of piping, and a 40-foot, mirrored-finish copper column still – the only one of its kind in the world.
