Visit Baltimore took advantage of the Atlas Restaurant Group's James Beard House dinner to host meeting planners and travel media in New York this June as part of the organization's summer Northeast sales mission. The sales team, along with a number of our hotel general managers, used this authentic culinary experience to showcase Baltimore's appeal as a meetings destination. The top tier customers in attendance represented more than 30,000 potential room nights for the city of Baltimore, including Major League Soccer and the FIFA United Bid Committee. As a highly considered host city for the 2026 World Cup, these influential clients represent key potential business that would secure more than 10,000 room nights to the city.
