Camden Yards and the Baltimore Orioles

The Ultimate Baseball Pilgrimage

If you’re a baseball fan, you’ll want to plan a trip – or rather, a pilgrimage - to Baltimore to catch an O’s game at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. There’s plenty to do in and around the stadium, as well – including discovering the baseball greats immortalized in the sculpture garden, and soaking in the atmosphere of the stadium complex at night.

Plan a Trip to See the Birds

Once the Birds fly home from Spring Training in Florida, there are plenty of opportunities to experience a live Orioles game. Plan a trip in spring to see the opening series, or come in the summer with your family or work group to enjoy the sunshine and temperate weather.

The Game, the Atmosphere and Not to Mention, the Food!

If you want to take a break from the baseball action and go in search of a ballpark snack, there are plenty of choices. From traditional fare to BBQ to crab cakes, there's something for every palate. And if you're thirsty, you won't want to miss grabbing a glass of the local favorite National Bohemian beer at The Natty Boh Bar.

Check Out O's Greats in the Sculpture Garden

On your way into the game, check out the sculpture garden; the centerfield picnic area was turned into a sculpture park featuring statues of six of the Oriole's greatest players.

Cozy Up To Cal, Eddie and Jim

The bronze sculptures of Frank Robinson, Earl Weaver, Jim Palmer, Eddie Murray, Cal Ripken and Brooks Robinson all capture the great's unique playing styles.
