(Baltimore, MD) – Visit Baltimore, the official destination sales and marketing organization for Baltimore, today announced the hiring of Anita Nuñez Cepollaro to fill the position of senior national sales manager and the promotions of current staff members Shavonne Harding and Christina Ghani. Harding was promoted to regional director of sales, central and west coast regions and Ghani to senior national sports manager.
Nuñez Cepollaro brings more than 18 years of sales and business development experience to Visit Baltimore where she will assist in the procurement and booking of meetings and convention business for the City of Baltimore while working to cultivate new business and optimize existing accounts. Prior to joining Visit Baltimore, Cepollaro most recently served in sales roles for Hiltons of Washington, D.C. and Meet Puerto Rico. She graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in child development and family studies.
Harding joined Visit Baltimore in March 2018 as senior national sales manager after serving in sales positions for Destination DC and the Freeman Company. In her new role as regional director of sales, Harding will assist in the procurement of booking convention sales business for the City of Baltimore with a special focus on the central and west coast regions in addition to the tradeshow and international markets. Harding received her bachelor’s degree from Hampton University and a master of tourism administration degree in event and meeting management from the George Washington University School of Business.
Ghani joined Visit Baltimore in July 2016 as a national sales and sports manager. In her new role, Ghani will assist in the procurement of meetings, sporting events and convention business for the city of Baltimore. Ghani graduated from Towson University with a bachelor’s degree in sports management and a minor in business administration.
