Be Here: Baltimore is a mobile storytelling project that aims to connect Baltimore neighborhoods, people, businesses and cultural institutions through stories – not only to each other, but to other towns and cities. Using location aware apps, storytellers can place their stories in the most relevant locations, allowing smart phone users to discover the hidden histories, culture and stories of Baltimore while exploring the city.
A $25,000 fund is being sponsored by izi.TRAVEL to help the MuseWeb Foundation support new and diverse voices in telling the stories of the city. The call for proposals for Be Here: Baltimore funding is now open. Submit your proposals no later than July 10, 2016, for a chance to win $1,000+ and launch your project by August 15!
