The Visit Baltimore communications and marketing teams have been hard at work promoting Baltimore as a destination in conjunction with the debut of Hairspray Live! on NBC December 7. A landing page for all things quirky about Baltimore was created to showcase Hairspray-themed cocktails and hotel packages, along with some of John Waters' favorite places in Baltimore, plus a new video highlighting unique Baltimore spots with custom dance moves called "Show Your B-Side."
On the night of the show, Visit Baltimore was at the Hairspray Live viewing party at Café Hon as director of communications Kelly Nagle gave viewers a virtual experience through Facebook Live videos, which can be seen here.
