In an effort to increase overnight hotel stays during the holidays, the Maryland Office of Tourism has unveiled a unique partnership with a somewhat tongue-in-cheek name: “Home for the Holidays… But Not My Home.”
The campaign will encourage those who come home for the holidays to enjoy quality time with friends and family—then get cozy at a local hotel where they can sleep in peace. The state is looking to partner with the lodging community to develop a holiday package that will in turn be promoted through digital media. Holiday packages will be posted on www.VisitMaryland.org. Visit Baltimore will also include all submitted packages on our baltimore.org website where our holiday campaign will be directing traffic.
Interested hotels can submit your deal here (offerings from mid-November through late December encouraged) Discounted rates work, but also think about holiday light displays, holiday themed attractions, or nearby shopping coupon offers. The deadline for submission is October 15, 2018.
