BWI Airport is a major hub for Southwest Airlines, which offers flights to Baltimore from major cities like Austin and Chicago for as low as $100. Budget airline Frontier also operates out of BWI. Additionally, Baltimore’s Pennsylvania Station is a popular stop on Amtrak’s busy Northeast train routes with daily deals. Located in the heart of the city, just steps from the Station North Arts & Entertainment District, it’s also less than two miles from the Inner Harbor.

Fort McHenry National Monument

Once you’re here, a mix of free transit options, walkable neighborhoods and public transportation connecting major attractions across the city provides low-cost ways to explore. The same logic applies at the National Aquarium, where membership pricing scales with family size and includes year-round admissions plus discounts on dining and gift shop purchases.
